RECREATION AND LEISURE

Sheen gate leads directly to Richmond Park, which is close by and walking distance and opens up the most incredible options of sports and leisure and much more.

Richmond Park is vast and a special conservation area of open trails and grasslands, ponds and lakes and the home of the world famous Richmond deer and a huge variety of wildlife.

East Sheen Common, covering 75 acres and consisting of woodland, a cricket field, a bowling green is also superb and Palewell Common offers further playing fields, a playground, tennis courts and a pitch-and-putt course.

LOCAL TRANSPORT LINKS

Communications are excellent, the South Circular runs through east Sheen and along Upper Richmond Road, so fast access to the M4, A3 and M25.

There are two train stations Mortlake and North Sheen, with fast services to the West End and City, for example Waterloo in under 25 Minutes.

A great and varied Bus service runs along Upper Richmond Road and indeed to the bus station acting as a major hub, in Richmond, 3 miles away and along the main artery into central London.
