LEISURE AND RECREATION
Streatham’s natural green spaces are a huge lure and Streatham Common is a hive of jogging, sports and activities, all year round. A must visit is the Rookery.
Streatham is a great place to rent, it has a brilliant leisure centre and nearby Tooting Common has the Lido of all Lido’s and is England’s largest fresh water swimming pool.
LOCAL TRANSPORT LINKS
Streatham Station and Streatham Common Station provide fast and regular trains to Victoria, London Bridge, Blackfriars. It takes 25 mins to get to Farringdon for example and the Thameslink train service is amazing for anyone working in the City.
The bus services are superb and of course the road network, with the South Circular sitting on the edge of Streatham, means easy access.
